Franky's Bowling Leagues

Do you also like bowling? Did you know that it is also done in competition?
And did you know that it is a fun activity for every age? Both young and old can do it.

Bowling is done at all kinds of levels, including in competition.
When you are a member of an association, you regularly play in a team against other teams.
We call these the house leagues.

At Franky's Hoorn, in collaboration with Bowling Vereniging Hoorn, 
different leagues from Monday to Thursday. Although on these evenings there is of course bowling
For the match points, fun is paramount here.
Of course, during these leagues, the courts are professionally prepared
with a challenging oil pattern and the approach is evenly smooth.

During the matches, a handicap system is used in which bowlers
with a lower average get extra points so that they can still compete fairly
against the bowlers with higher averages.

From season 2024/2025, starting at 1st^{week of} September:
Monday: Trio-league
Tuesday: Doubles/Trio-league

Bowling Association Hoorn
The Bowling Association Hoorn (BVH) has existed since 1979 and is affiliated with the Dutch Bowling Federation,
the umbrella organization to which all bowling associations are affiliated.
In addition to the house leagues, the BVH also organizes the association championships and
several smaller tournaments where guests are also welcome.
